AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT vs. RTX 2070 SUPER
- They both have the same minimum texture and pixel fill rates.
- The RX 5700 XT has 7.6% higher peak texture and pixel fill rates.
- The RX 5700 XT uses 10 watts (4.7%) more power.
AMD Radeon RX 5700 vs. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER
- The RX 5700 XT has 5.6% higher minimum and 10.7% higher peak texture fill rates.
- The RX 5700 XT has a 4.5% higher peak pixel fill rate.
- The RX 5700 XT uses 10 watts (5.7%) more power.
However, these are only paper specifications. NVIDIA also took pains in their RTX SUPER tech briefing to point out (starting at 9:20) that the boost speed of Radeon RX 5700 cards kicks in only occasionally, while GeForce RTX cards will boost whenever thermal limits allow.

- Both Radeon RX 5700 and GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER cards were equally fast when we averaged the benchmark results of six games.
- The GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER (US | UK | MY) was slightly faster at 1080p.
- The Radeon RX 5700 (US | UK | MY) was slightly faster at 1440p.
- The GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER was notably quieter than the Radeon RX 5700.
- The Radeon RX 5700 has better value for money, after the pre-launch price cut, but the RTX 2060 SUPER comes with two free games.

Based on the earlier price, the AMD Navi cards had a 20.8% better price-performance value than the NVIDIA RTX SUPER cards.
With the new Radeon RX 5700 price cut, they now have a 23.8% better price-performance value than the NVIDIA RTX SUPER cards. That’s a 14.4% improvement.
Specs-wise, the RX 5700 XT is virtually the same as the RTX 2070 SUPER, but it is now $100 cheaper.
The RX 5700, on the other hand, is about the same as the RTX 2060 SUPER, just $50 cheaper.

Even though both cards performed the same, the Radeon RX 5700 (US | UK | MY) offered 12.2% better price-performance value.
The price cut really helped a lot. Without it, the Radeon RX 5700 would have offered only 5% better price-performance value, and that’s nothing compared to the two free games from NVIDIA!

Despite the AMD Navi’s advantage in fabrication technology, the RX 5700 XT and RX 5700 cards had virtually the same power efficiency as the RTX 2070 SUPER and RTX 2060 SUPER cards.
