Dell just unveiled the OptiPlex 7070 Ultra with the world’s most flexible, zero-footprint desktop design!
We will take a look at what that means, and why the new Dell OptiPlex 7070 Ultra may be just the modern office needs!
The Dell OptiPlex 7070 Ultra
The Dell OptiPlex 7070 Ultra is called a zero-footprint desktop design, because it integrates the PC with the monitor. This is what the industry calls an All-In-One (AIO) design.
While AIO designs save space and reduce clutter, they are often notoriously difficult, if not impossible, to upgrade over time.
The Dell OptiPlex 7070 Ultra, however, was designed from the ground-up to be modular, offering flexibility in both serviceability and upgradability.
- Independent upgrade of the PC and the display – you can swap out, upgrade or service any part at any time
- The PC is integrated into the monitor stand, with physical security options to protect against tampering
- Can be configured for different use cases or work styles with options of a height-adjustable stand, fixed stand, VESA mount, Dell MSA20 single monitor arm or the Dell MDA20 dual monitor arm.
- The PC performance can be scaled to meet the users’ needs – up to Intel Core vPro i7 processors, 64 GB of RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD and 2 TB HDD
Even though it already comes with a display, the Dell OptiPlex 7070 Ultra can support up to two other monitors – from 19- to 27-inches – for greater productivity.
And if you opt for the new Dell USB-C monitors, you can use a single cable to transmit power, data, video and audio!
Dell OptiPlex 7070 Ultra Price + Availability
The Dell OptiPlex 7070 Ultra will be available for purchase by end of September 2019, with pricing to be announced later.
