The AMD Radeon RX 5700 Price Cut
Just a day before their official release, AMD is cutting $50 off both the Radeon RX 5700 XT 50th Anniversary Edition, and the Radeon RX 5700 XT. They are also cutting $30 off the Radeon RX 5700.

This substantial price cut will make the Radeon RX 5700 cards more competitive against the NVIDIA RTX SUPER cards.

Based on the earlier price, the AMD Navi cards had a 20.8% better price-performance value than the NVIDIA RTX SUPER cards.
With the new Radeon RX 5700 price cut, they now have a 23.8% better price-performance value than the NVIDIA RTX SUPER cards. That’s a 14.4% improvement.
Specs-wise, the RX 5700 XT is virtually the same as the RTX 2070 SUPER, but it is now $100 cheaper.
The RX 5700, on the other hand, is about the same as the RTX 2060 SUPER, just $50 cheaper.
AMD Radeon RX 5700 Series Primer
The AMD Radeon RX 5700 series of graphics cards is built around the new AMD Navi GPU that uses the new RDNA architecture and fabricated on the 7 nm process technology.
Its redesigned Compute Units deliver 1.25X higher performance per clock, and up to 1.5X better performance per watt.
