In this article, we will take a look at the official Radeon RX 5700 Malaysia price list, and do some quick calculations…
AMD Radeon RX 5700 Series Primer
The AMD Radeon RX 5700 series of graphics cards is built around the new AMD Navi GPU that uses the new RDNA architecture and fabricated on the 7 nm process technology.
Its redesigned Compute Units deliver 1.25X higher performance per clock, and up to 1.5X better performance per watt.

The AMD Radeon RX 5700 Malaysia Price List
AMD will only bring in the Radeon RX 5700 XT and Radeon RX 5700 cards for now. No word yet on the Radeon RX 5700 XT 50th Anniversary Edition.
As usual, Malaysians will pay a substantial premium for graphics cards. But this isn’t an AMD issue – it applies to all graphics cards, including the NVIDIA RTX SUPER series.

Note that the actual sale prices in the US will vary, once sales taxes (between 0% and 12.875%) are factored in.
In any case, let’s be thankful that AMD decided to cut prices before the Radeon RX 5700 cards went on sale.
By our estimate, these would have been the Malaysia price list without the Radeon RX 5700 price cut :
- Radeon RX 5700 XT : ~RM 2,089 – more expensive by RM 230
- Radeon RX 5700 : ~RM 1,799 – more expensive by RM 140
