If you were peeved by the 4% markup on the Apple iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone 8 prices in Malaysia, you will be shocked by how much the upcoming iPhone X smartphone will cost in Malaysia. We will share with you the Apple iPhone X price list for Malaysia, and our comparison of iPhone X prices across the globe. Find out where you can buy the cheapest Apple iPhone X!
The Apple iPhone X Price In Malaysia
The running joke is that the Apple marketing team is just like the Microsoft marketing team – they can’t count properly, skipping from 8 to 10. Either that or they must believe that 9 is an unlucky number…
In any case, the 10th Anniversary iPhone X sits on top of the iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone 8 models that are already extravagantly priced. It will be available in two colour options – Silver and Space Grey, for a princely sum of RM 5,149 (~US$ 1,226) for the 64 GB model, and RM 5,899 (~US$ 1,405) for the 256 GB model, inclusive of the 6% GST.
To put that in perspective, the top-of-the-line smartphones from their main competitor, Samsung, are much cheaper at just RM 3,999 (~US$ 952) for the Samsung Galaxy Note8, RM 3,699 (~US$ 880) for the Samsung Galaxy S8+, and RM 3,299 (~US$ 785) for the Samsung Galaxy S8. You can almost purchase two Galaxy S8 smartphones for the price of the iPhone X 256GB!
