The Apple iPhone 8 Price In Malaysia

We would normally expect an Apple employee or someone working for a telco to leak such details. But this year, it was the telco itself that leaked the prices ahead of the pre-order! Celcom today revealed the Apple iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone 8 price list for Malaysia!

They also revealed the new prices for the Apple iPhone 7 Plus, and iPhone 7 smartphones. For your convenience, we summarise the prices in this table :

As you can see, the iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone 8 models will cost about 4% more in Malaysia, than in the US. But that’s before the 6% GST is added. With the 6% GST, the Malaysian prices are about 10% higher than the US prices.

 

The Apple iPhone 8 Availability In Malaysia

The Apple iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone 8 will be available for pre-order, which kicks off at 12:01 AM on 13 October 2017. The new telco offers will also be revealed in conjunction with the pre-order. Deliveries and retail sale will begin on 20 October 2017.
