Windows 7 Home Premium

Windows 7 Home Premium isn't exclusive to the Next-Generation NVIDIA ION. Any manufacturer who wants to bundle Windows 7 Home Premium with their netbooks can do so (with Microsoft's gratitude to boot!). To differentiate ION-based netbooks from their sundry Intel competitors, NVIDIA is apparently insisting that all ION netbooks should ship with Windows 7 Home Premium.

That makes sense, of course, since Windows 7 Starter doesn't come with key features that NVIDIA needs to truly showcase the Next-Generation NVIDIA ION's full capabilities. What could better remind users of the powerful ION GPU hiding in their netbook than the presence of the Aero 3D interface?
