The WD TV comes in a black cardboard box which protects it against damage during transportation. Ours came worse for the wear, but fortunately, the contents were in perfect condition. This goes to show just how important proper packaging is.

Inside, the contents were nestled within a soft plastic tray to protect them against shock from drops. Inside, we found the following items :

  • One WD TV media player
  • One WD TV remote control with two AAA batteries
  • One set of composite RCA cables
  • One holder for the WD Passport
  • One AC power adaptor
  • One media converter software CD
  • One pair of rubber feet
