How Much Performance Increase Can You Expect?
AJLynn from CGArchitect.com also tested the mod and it worked on two cards - the NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB and the NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT. He modded the GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB to the Quadro FX 4600 and the GeForce 8600 GT became the Quadro FX 1700. Here were his results :
