Introduction

EC-Asia International (ECI) was founded in Singapore in 1993 when CEO and Founder, Kelvin Ang created a business riding on the idea of re-processing used computer memory products and reselling them into the secondary market.

As the technology for memory branched out from standard DRAM into the non-volatile flash memory, the ACEplus line of products expanded to include a line of Secure Digital Cards (standard SD, mini-SD, micro-SD), Multi Media Cards (standard MMC, MMCplus, MMCmobile), Compact Flash as well as flash drive products.

Their products are now categorized into three segments - Memory, Flash and Lifestyle. Today, we will be taking a look at their sole product in the Lifestyle segment - the ACEplus Melody. Let's take a look!

Package

The ACEplus Melody comes in a completely red cardboard box. You can see the player through the clear plastic window. Since this MP3 player comes in 6 different colour schemes or "skins", be sure to note the colour before you buy it.

Flipping the box around, you will see a long list of the player's functions and features. Somehow, this box isn't as eye-catching as many of the packaging we have seen for other audio players.
