Introduction

Steel is actually a brand name of the Danish company, Soft Trading. You may not have heard of Soft Trading but you will probably have heard of their other brand - Icemat. Yes, Soft Trading is the manufacturer and distributor of the Icemat Siberia headset and Icemat series of professional gaming pads!

In the past, we have reviewed several Steelpad gaming pads, like the Steelpad 4D, Steelpad QcK+ and the Steelpad S&S. Soft Trading has truly produced some of the best gaming pads we have had the opportunity to test.

Soft Trading has since branched out into the audio business with their new Steel Sound line of products. This new line of product consists mainly of two products :

• Steel Sound 5H Professional Gaming Headset
• Steel Sound 5H-USB Professional Gaming Headset

Today, we are going to take a look at their Steel Sound 5H-USB professional gaming headset.

The only difference between this headset and the standard Steel Sound 5H headset is the inclusion of a gaming-optimized USB sound card with this package.
