Opening it up, this is what you will see!

Aha! The insides!

To the left is the card reader. It's securely held down by cardboard tabs. Everything looks secure in this packaging. Now, out of the box, they go...

Here is a shot of everything that came in the box.

Contents

Included in the package are (from left to right) :

  • Instructions manual
  • Pack of screws (plenty of extras )
  • Soyo BayOne XP
  • 5.25 bay adapter
  • USB cable
  • Two extra bezels (Black & Silver)

As I noted above, Soyo gave two extra bezels for the Bayone XP. Here's a shot of all three. The beige bezel is attached by default.

Bezels

This was a very good move by Soyo. Not everyone uses the boring old beige case these days. Many now go for black- or aluminum- (silver-) colored cases. Some of us have cases in other colors like red or blue, but black looks good with most colors. Therefore, with the choice of three bezel colors, you won't have to worry about the colors not matching your case. Kudos to Soyo!

Now, let's look at that 5.25" adapter. This allows the BayOne XP to fit into a 5.25" drive bay.

5.25" Adapter

Soyo also provides a USB cable to connect the BayOne XP to your motherboard's internal USB headers.

USB Cable

Soyo chose to cover the USB cable with a mesh sleeve. I personally find this a plus as it gives the cable a little more class. It certainly looks nicer than the beige-colored sleeves that are used for my USB front panel connectors.

Soyo has also included some screws with their package.

Screws

As you can see, Soyo didn't skimp on the screws at all. They included plenty of them.

Next up, the Soyo BayOne XP!
